In addition to frequenting the many amazing restaurants in the area, I cook, bake bread, make charcuterie, cheese, wine, and beer. I also keep bees.

We live in the middle of wine country and definitely take advantage of it. When I'm not working in the tasting room or doing lab work at a local winery, we're out exploring many of the other great wineries in the area. Not to mention we enjoy wine from around the country and around the world.

I've been an avid amateur astronomer for years. We occasionally travel to dark sky sties around Oregon for star parties, and I have a dome in my yard where I take images through several telescopes. Continue on to see some of my images.
